What is a SIM Only Plan?

In a SIM only plan, you only purchase a SIM card and do not buy a handset. A SIM only plan is a prepaid plan where you pay for services like calling, texting and data usage up front.

There are two types of SIM only plans: Pay monthly plan and Pay as you Go.

What is Pay As You Go?

Pay As You Go or PAYG is essentially a system in which you recharge/add credit and get the flexibility to enjoy services provided by the mobile operator. For example, in PAYG plan, you can either opt for a 4GB data plan or a combination of international minutes, local minutes and texts

When you opt for Pay as you go with Lycamobile, you can simply buy a SIM card and add credit or buy a plan to start calling the world for less!

What is a Prepaid SIM?

You should choose Lycamobile’s SIM only deal because – When you buy a prepaid SIM card, you buy the SIM with no lock-in contracts or without any plan tied to it. You are required to pay for the services like calling, texting or data usage – up front.

This kind of plan helps you keep your expenditure in check.

What are BYO mobile phone plans?

BYO or Bring Your Own phone plans are the same as SIM only plans. So, when you buy a Lycamobile SIM card, you get to bring any compatible mobile handset of your choice (unlocked) to start using our range of services.

These plans do not require you to sign a contract, allowing you to enjoy the same great rates.

National and International Plans

Unlimited 10: You must have a minimum account balance of at least $10.00 to activate the Unlimited 10. The plan enables you to make Unlimited national calls to Australian mobile and landline numbers and send Unlimited standard SMS to Australian mobile numbers and access up to 1GB of data for 28 days, all while browsing within Australia. When you activate the All in One 10, you cannot use any other Pay As You Go tariff or Saver tariff. Other services such as roaming, data usage exceeding plan data allowance, or premium service numbers (e.g. 1900 numbers) will be charged at our standard rates (data is charged at $0.07/MB – see: lycamobile.com.au for our current rates). You can have only ONE plan ACTIVE at any one time. Your plan will automatically renew at the end of the 28 days period, using the main balance available in your Lycamobile number or through your payment card, depending on the initial activation method. If you do not want your plan to renew, dial *190# and follow the instructions to cancel the auto renewal. The Lycamobile service is only for personal use. If you use the service unreasonably (e.g. fraudulently or for business purposes), we may suspend or cancel your service. These rates and inclusions are current as of 08/11/2017. We may remove this plan by giving 7 days’ notice on our website at lycamobile.com.au. Any plans already activated at time of withdrawal will continue until expiry of 28 days from activation.

Unlimited 20: You must have a minimum account balance of at least $20.00 to activate the Unlimited 20. The plan enables you to make unlimited standard national calls to Australian mobile and landline numbers and send unlimited standard SMS to Australian mobile numbers and access up to 3GB of data for 28 days, all while browsing within Australia. When you activate the Unlimited 20, you cannot use any other Pay As You Go tariff or Saver tariff. Other services such as roaming, data usage exceeding plan data allowance, or premium service numbers (e.g. 1900 numbers) will be charged at our standard rates (data is charged at $0.07/MB – see: lycamobile.com.au for our current rates). You can have only ONE plan ACTIVE at any one time. The plan enables you to make unlimited standard national calls to Australian mobile and landline numbers and send unlimited standard SMS to Australian mobile numbers, unlimited minutes to 12 countries: China, Canada, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, Colombia, UK, USA and access up to 2GB of data for 28 days, all while browsing within Australia. When you activate the Unlimited Plan XS, you cannot use any other Pay As You Go tariff or Saver tariff. Other services such as roaming, data usage exceeding bundle data allowance, or premium service numbers (e.g. 1900 numbers) will be charged at our standard rates (data is charged at $0.07/MB – see: lycamobile.com.au for our current rates). You can have only ONE plan ACTIVE at any one time. Your plan will automatically renew at the end of the 28 days period, using the main balance available in your Lycamobile number or through your payment card, depending on the initial activation method. If you do not want your plan to renew, dial *190# and follow the instructions to cancel the auto renewal. Unlimited Plan S: You must have a minimum account balance of $30.00 to activate the Unlimited Plan S. The plan enables you to make unlimited standard national calls to Australian mobile and landline numbers and send unlimited standard SMS to Australian mobile numbers, unlimited minutes to 12 countries: China, Canada, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, Colombia, UK and USA, either 30 minutes to Group A countries or 10 minutes to Group B countries. (countries listed below) and access to 6GB of data for 28 days (plus 3GB of Bonus data when you purchase (using credit or debit card) or Preloaded customers whoever purchase online and auto renewing the plan (unlimited plan S ) all while browsing within Australia. When you activate the Unlimited Plan S, you cannot use any other Pay As You Go tariff or Saver tariff. Other services such as roaming, data usage exceeding plan data allowance, or premium service numbers (e.g. 1900 numbers) will be charged at our standard rates (data is charged at $0.07/MB – see: lycamobile.com.au for our current rates). Unlimited Plan M: You must have a minimum account balance of $40.00 to activate the Unlimited Plan M. The plan enables you to make unlimited standard national calls to Australian mobile and landline numbers and send unlimited standard SMS to Australian mobile numbers, unlimited minutes to 15 countries: China, Canada, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, Peru, Puerto Rico, UK and USA, either 30 minutes to Group A countries or 10 minutes to Group B countries. (countries listed below) and access upto 15GB of data for 28 days (plus 3GB of Bonus data when you purchase (using credit or debit card) or Preloaded customers whoever purchase online and auto renewing the plan (unlimited plan M) on or after 08/05/2018), all while browsing within Australia. When you activate the Unlimited Plan M, you cannot use any other Pay As You Go tariff or Saver tariff. Calls to any Lycamobile numbers in Australia are unlimited. Customer must recharge by a minimum (of $10) during each calendar month & should have a minimum account balance of $0.01 to be eligible for making calls. Promotion valid only within Australia mainland and is not applicable while roaming abroad. Other usage will be charged at the standard rate.

Data Bolt Ons

Terms & Conditions – Data Bolt On: Lycamobile Data bolt-ons will expire when your current plan expires. The customer may purchase the plans from their existing account balance. Promotional call credit cannot be used to buy bolt-ons. You can add up to four bolt-ons to your existing plan (Plan with data only) with in the expiry. Any unused data will expire on the expiry date of main plan. In plan data usage is rounded up and charged in 1KB increments. Once the data allowance of a plan has been fully used, additional data usage will be charged at standard rate. Lycamobile reserves the right to replace or amend the offer or these Terms & Conditions or to withdraw the offer at any time on reasonable notice. The offer is for non-commercial, private, personal use only.
